Giving Back

Western Son is committed to serving community and honoring the heroes among us. With this commitment in mind, they donate a portion of the profits from each bottle to the Peter Burks Unsung Hero Fund, which is dedicated to carrying on the legacy of 2LT Peter Burks. Before he was killed in action, Peter encouraged family and friends to send care packages to deployed military to provide encouragement to those serving on the front lines.

Since December 2007, the Unsung Hero Fund has shipped over 46,000 pounds of care packages to deployed military around the world and provided countless humanitarian supplies for use in building connections with local citizens in war zones. Western Son Distilling is proud to honor Peter Burks and the Unsung Hero Fund with their donations.
